Refund Policy

This Refund Policy forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. It applies to all purchases made through redinc.academy (the "Platform"), operated by Redinc Academy LLP ("Redinc", "we", "us").


Summary

Our products are digital. Once access to purchased content is granted, the sale is final and the purchase is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law, or where one of the limited exceptions below applies.

1. Why digital products are non-refundable

Courses, lessons, video content, downloadable materials, and workshop recordings are digital goods that are delivered and consumed immediately. Access cannot be "returned" once granted. By completing your purchase and accessing the content, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose any change-of-mind or cooling-off right to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Accordingly, we do not offer refunds for:

  • change of mind, or no longer wanting or needing the content;
  • failure to use, complete, or derive a particular result from the content;
  • lack of skills, equipment, or time to use the content;
  • partial consumption of a course or programme.

2. Your statutory rights are preserved

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and any mandatory consumer law that applies to you. Where such law grants you a remedy that this Policy would otherwise deny, that law prevails. This Policy is to be read so as to remain valid and enforceable; if any part is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply (severability).

3. Limited exceptions: when we will consider a refund

We will review and, where appropriate, issue a refund or credit in the following situations:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charge: you were charged more than once for the same item, or charged in error, for the same content.
  • Non-delivery / failure to access: you paid but, due to a fault on our side, were not granted access to the content, and we are unable to resolve the access issue within a reasonable time after you report it.

In each case we may first exercise a right to cure, that is, to fix the access or delivery problem, before a refund is issued. Refunds, where granted, are issued to the original payment method.

4. Live in-person workshops

Paid in-person workshops are not pure digital goods and are treated separately:

  • If we cancel an in-person workshop, you are entitled to a full refund or, at your option, a transfer to a future session.
  • If you cannot attend, refund or transfer eligibility and any cut-off window are as stated on that workshop's registration page. No-shows and cancellations after the stated cut-off are non-refundable.

Webinars and workshop recordings are digital products and are governed by Sections 1 to 3.

5. How payments and refunds are processed

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. Where a refund is approved, it is processed back through Dodo Payments to your original payment method. Bank and processor timelines apply (typically several business days); the exact timing is outside our control.

6. How to request a refund

Email hello@redinc.academy from your registered email address with:

  • your name and registered email;
  • the order/transaction ID;
  • the item purchased and date; and
  • the reason, with any supporting detail (such as evidence of a duplicate charge or access failure).

Submit requests within 7 days of the charge (or such longer period as the law requires). We aim to acknowledge within a reasonable time and to resolve eligible requests promptly.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first. Most issues, such as duplicate charges or access problems, are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, or in bad faith, may result in suspension or termination of your Account and access to purchased content, without prejudice to our other rights.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
